Betting on the Ponies.

I love Buck night at the race track. Tickets are only $1. Kids 17 and under get in free. Programs, pop, popcorn, and nachos are only $1. Hot dogs are $2. We save so much vs a standard night there's enough $$$ to bet on the ponies. We bet $16, that's eight $2 bets. We lost five races and won three.
The Results:
Josephene won $2.40 on her race. After paying me back the cost of the bet ($2) she left with $0.40.
Charles won $2.60 on his race. After paying me back the cost of the bet ($2) he left with $0.60.
I was the big winner of the night. I won $3.00 on my race. After the cost of the bet ($2) I left with $1.00. Actually, I ended the night down $9.00 since I was the one who fronted all of the bets. On the other hand, I spent $50 (including bets) for an entire night of activities for 6 people. That's admision, programs, dinner, snacks, bets, and more snacks. So, I won!
