My Vegas: Aria

We stayed one night using a comp My Vegas reward at the Aria.

The regular room rate was $199, plus the $39 resort fee and taxes. There were no fancy upgrades or extra comps at this hotel. We were charged the $15 parking fee this time along with the resort fee and taxes. Our "free" room cost us about $65. Again, this is a great deal for a luxury strip hotel and worth the gold coins used. I'd like to say we saved $199 for a nights stay, but we would never spend $199 for one night in a hotel for two people. What I can say is for $65 we received a once in a lifetime experience.

My Vegas: Mirage Hotel and Casino

We stayed two nights at the Mirage on a My Vegas comp.

The room itself was $105 a night. That was actually free. On the other hand we did pay $35 plus taxes a night for the resort fee. Parking was another fee, we were comped this at the desk along with a room refrigerator. Loved the sevice we received at check in. This was a great deal, but not really a comp room. Our "free" room cost us about $45 a night and that was worth the few gold coins we used. It also saved us over $200 on a nice strip hotel room.

My Vegas: Zumanity Cirque du Soleil

Andrew and I each used 28,000 gold coins for a free admission to Zumanity at the New York New York Hotel. We logged into our computers at the same time and picked seats next to each other. It was that easy.

A day after getting the tickets we received an email saying there was a service fee and tax that needed to be paid for our free tickets. It turns out that was BS. At the box office they told us no money was due and to enjoy the show.

A regular ticket goes for $69, but deals are too easy to come by to use that price. We'll go with $49 per ticket for a savings of $98.

Both my hubby and I play the My Vegas game. It's not my favorite game, but the free rewards are fun.

We each used 28,000 gold coins to receive  free admission to the Secret Garden. An adult ticket is regularly $22. We saved $44 total and there were no fees or taxes with this ticket.
