Day 1 Minnesota State Fair – Visit 1, 7:00 am to 10:45 pm

Highlights:

Since he’s big enough to rest his feet on the pegs we purchased a helmet for Baby Bear. We ate lots of food. My favorite berries and cheese tray. Everyone else’s favorite Papa Pronto Pups. The Meatball Sunday was a close 2nd. STEM day included science experiments (ask the boys about the bones) and building battle bugs. Many rides and even more games. Bobble heads at the State Farm booth! A traditional walk through ECO, International Bazar, Agriculture, and Grandstand. Eight Specialty Sips (Attack of the Quack!, Grumpy Old Manhattan, Cinnamon Lemoncello Cake’d Up, Lingonberry Blast, “The Lingonburg” - Lingonberry Shandy, Pineapple Sour Beergarita, Blood Orange Mimosa Cider, & Tangerine Sunset Mojito)

Lows…

Only one, being stuck in the grandstand with a million other people without my phone during the rain unable to find my guys. It took 2 hours to reconnect, but once we did we went out into the rain for some fresh air. Side note, if you ask someone to hold your phone when you go to the bathroom, ask for it back before the group splits up to view different tables.
